我一直不是一個Heavey Metal型的，手上也少有重金屬CD, 除了十年前了一張Skid Row，七年前買了一張Yingwie Malmsteen的電吉他協奏曲，就沒有了。我喜歡Heavy Metal歌手的勁兒，長頭髮，皮褲、背心，外加電吉他一副，帥啊！
我不是說Heavy Metal不好，只是我覺得聽來聽去還是「很吵」兩個字可以形容(對不起我沒有慧根)。不過我還是知道有少許樂團曾經唱過抒情歌，最有名的應該是Extreme的More Than Word
這首真的是抒情中的抒情，歌詞也浪漫的不得了，一聽我就喜歡。而且這首歌曲也只有吉他當編曲樂器的樣子，其他人的合音的完美極了。
Extreme的成員總共有四個，分別是Patrick Badger(bass guitar), Gary Cherone(vocal), Paul Geary(drummers, 1985-1994), Nuno Bettencourt(guitar), 還有Michael Mangini(drummer, 1994-1996)
其中Cherone是主唱，More Than Word裡面的主旋律就是他唱的，聲音真的很醇厚吧，而這首歌曲的作曲者就是Nuno Bettencourt, 我想吉他應該也是他彈的。(這我要去查一下我CD的說明)
More Than Word在1990年發行，就在"Extreme II: Pornograffiti"，有興趣的可以買來聽聽看囉(不過裡面只有這首不是Heavy Metal)。
這首歌因為太有名了，被很多團體又翻唱，譬如Westlife, 說實在，翻唱的還不差。
